E-Readers for Murewa Mission School
Be A Digital Missionary

Over 10O years ago, Methodist missionaries founded a school for orphans in Zimbabwe called the Murawe Mission School, which is now one of the highest rated schools in the area serving orphan children and those affected by the area's unstable economic and political climate.

Encouraging reading and literacy requires a variety of books at many skill levels for students to choose from. Even for a well-established school like Murawe, access to books is costly and maintaining a library of relevant books from global authors is next to impossible.  Now with the advent of e-readers, a student can have an entire library in the palm of her hand.

Thanks to a partnership with WorldReader, Amazon, Volunteers in Mission, and youth from many United Methodist churches, we forming a Digital Mission Team to raise $7,000 so that the school  will receive 50 e-readers loaded with a mix of books:  local textbooks, local storybooks and international books, with the choice to search for and download additional content to keep the library growing.

By donating any amount to the campaign, you  become a digital missionary and provide students in Murawe a chance to learn independently, widen their horizon of reading.

Thank you for making an invaluable impact on the lives of the young people of Murawe Mission School.
